1997: The story of Mont-Laurier Propane began in 1997, when Alain Robitaille, a passionate and visionary entrepreneur, founded the company. His main focus is propane gas distribution to homes and businesses in the region. His determination and commitment ensured that Mont-Laurier Propane became a trusted partner for those seeking reliable, personalized service.

2000: Three years later, in 2000, the company saw a major turning point with the arrival of Gabriel Perrier as a new partner. Gabriel, driven by a spirit of innovation and a desire to always serve customers better, broadened Mont-Laurier Propane’s horizons by introducing the sale and installation of propane-powered appliances. This development enables the company to offer complete solutions to its customers, meeting their needs not only for gas, but also for specialized equipment, while guaranteeing quality technical expertise.

2017: Mont-Laurier Propane begins a new chapter as Alain and Gabriel pass the torch to Donald and Mathieu Perrier. Already involved with the company since 2014, they are naturally continuing the mission while bringing a wind of modernization. They are introducing efficient new methods for monitoring tanks, improving processes to offer even more reliable service to their customers, and investing in vehicle conversions to propane, an initiative that significantly reduces the ecological footprint.

Deeply committed to their community, Donald and Mathieu actively support local community organizations, young people and seniors. Their vision and involvement have also enabled them to considerably expand the territory they serve: from the East (Saint-Jérôme) to the West (Gracefield), from the South (Val-des-Bois) to the North (Parent and Clova).

Thanks to their leadership and dedication, Mont-Laurier Propane continues to grow, while remaining close to its community and true to its original values. Today, the company is the region’s leading supplier of propane solutions, offering reliable, modern service tailored to customer needs.
